It's the 4th of October already and I am behind schedule! I went camping this past weekend and didn't get to put out my Halloween decorations like I usually do. I try to have them at least out of the attic on the first weekend in October. Today I am going to try to at least get everything down and go through it, maybe get some things up. Fall is my favorite time of year, all the holidays are coming! October is also my birthday month, I missed being a Halloween baby by 5 days. I should have been a Christmas baby, my twin sister and I were 2 months early! I'm looking forward to the local Halloween craft show which starts on Thursday evening. I will look for a nice decoration to add to my collection. We got rain today so it really seems like autumn is here. Last night I made my first soup of the season, Lentil bean and sausage soup and today I may bake a loaf of bread to go with it. Little Boy is home from school with a chest cold (feeling better) and Middle Son doesn't have class today until this evening so everyone is around so it is kind of a cozy day inside together : )

Well you are ahead of me! Love the photo and I know what you mean, this is the best time of year. I have gotten one Halloween foodie post up but still have so much to do. Enjoy this spooky season!
I am TOTALLY behind in the decoration department this year...don't feel bad :))
