Happy Christmas Season! I love red and so this is a good time for me decorating wise, EVERYTHING is red!! Yesterday, the first day of December, I opened up my first box of decorations and got started. My first question was, where are my 2 teenage boys when I need to crawling up into the attic and get the boxes down! Your guess is as good as mine ; ) I tell myself I am just pleased that I am able to do it myself if necessary. I have barely started and there is much to do. But I love to get everything out and look at it, and remember.....and I love to go shop for new things. Michaels Art and Crafts stores have so many beautiful things I may have to head over there later. I may get my tree today and get it up too. It seems a little early but I am leaving on Wednesday for an impromptu trip to New York for 4 days and I think if I wait till I get back, I will feel very rushed and late getting things up. My first time ever in New York and I am very excited, we don't have alot of time. I am accompanying my mother at the last minute, she is going there to do a performance as Betsey Ross for an elementary school. She does Chautauqua. a historical presentation as the person in history. ( I have done it too, I have done Pocahontas for school kids. ) She is very good at it and has been asked to come to New Jersey to perform. So we will take a few days and go to New York. I can't wait to see the beautiful decorations in Time Square and all the store fronts, etc.

Yay! I'm so happy to see you here! My husband had his first visit to NYC and loved it. The tree should be lit by now too and if you want to do amazing toy shopping you gotta go to FAO Schwartz, it's the place that had the giant keyboard in the movie Big. I hope you share all your adventures there with us here.
