Halloween 2009

These are some pictures of my Halloween decorating outside my door. I'm trying to decorate my blog a little for the 31 days of Halloween over at Mrs. B's. I donated an item, some earrings that I made for Halloween. I hope to get a few visitors over here. The cat wreath in the pictures I made in my 20's, about 25 years ago! It is still in pretty good shape. Tonight I stopped in over at Joann's fabrics after I picked up youngest son from a Halloween party. 50% off on the Halloween fabric. They had some great stuff. Of course I couldn't resist buying a little fabric. Black with glittery green spiders was my favorite. I am going to try to make some sort of decoration out of it for Halloween, I just hope I can make time. Fabric is a guilty pleasure for sure, I have bins and bins of it in my attic that hasn't even been used, but I can't help myself, pretty fabric makes me happy and I do go through it now and again just to look at it and feel it and it makes me as happy as the day I bought it! I am like that about beads too, but probably the most about fabric. Lately I have had no time, the company I worked for part time merged with a company and now I am basically full time until the full transition is over. What a bad time for such a thing, right before all the holidays! Oh well. I will just have to try and manage my time better. Monday is my birthday and I will be spending it with my twin and my mother. Fun, fun. We will go look at the beautiful Halloween display at our favorite nursery/gift shop. Then probably on to lunch and drinks. I can't wait!
