So tomorrow starts the Advent season, the beginning of Christmas time. We will spend the day today decorating and getting our lights up on the house. I have a big tree out in the front that I am going to decorate with Christmas balls and snowflakes hanging. I found some at Costco, and they were beautiful, but I figured out I could spend a small fortune on those and I'd rather spend the money elsewhere so my son and I decided we could make them ourselves with some stiff paper, glitter and glue. We will spray them with an acrylic seal when we are done. They are coming out nicely, not to mention the nice time we are having together at the table listening to music, talking and snacking as we work. These are the best parts of Christmas and holiday time to me.
