A Good Day For Baking

I made bread today using a recipe from Suzie the Foodie, I have the site on my blog roll, I don't know how to make links. It was really good bread! It made two loaves and one was gone in a 1/2 hour. It was great plain and with a little Nutella spread which I have just discovered. Good stuff! My youngest boy and his friend were having some fresh bread right out of the oven and this was the conversation:

Friend: This is really good bread!

Son: My mom is a good cook.

Friend: All mom's are good cooks.

Son: My mom is the best cooker.

Priceless!

Tomorrow I will make a beef stew I think, another recipe from Suzie the Foodie. Her recipes and recommendations are always good. I like to make the tried and true, saves alot of time.

We are expecting rain again Tuesday, we got the weekend off from rain. We really need it so it is great. I love the rain anyway as long as I don't need to drive anywhere.

The bread looks delicious, I hope you saved me some. The beef stew sounds good as well. I just ate dinner, but reading this I am hungry again!

Yay! I am so happy you made the bread! Is this the one I made recently? The Purity Cookbook bread? That's my guess and yours looks fantastic! Way to go, so happy you and your family loved it and wow, with Nutella? Why did I not think of that?

Good luck with the stew and don't forget the beef consomme and tomato paste like I did, LOL. Hugs!
