Well I watched one episode of Cupcake Wars (really liked that show!) and got all inspired to make cupcakes and do a display.  Fortunately it was one of my son's birthday so I had something to do it for.  I made the display out of platters and dishes I had and it actually worked and didn't fall over like everyone was afraid it was going to.   The cupcakes were really good and the display was pretty.  Son appreciated my efforts I think.  Either that or he was being really nice since it was his birthday and presents were expected ; )

It was this little boys 19th birthday!  I can hardly beleive it.  How time flys.  He is 16 days old here in a little Dior gown.   I held him up and let go for half a second while the photograper snapped the picture.  Precious.  He is doing very well in college, 3.8 gpa so we got him his very first computer, a laptop.  I realize there are probably kids alot younger than that with their own computers, but I have always preferred to have my kids use the family computer out in the common area so I kind of know what they are doing.   Hopefully he spends time on it for school and not too much time on Facebook!!
