Haunted Houses

I started the weekend off at an annual crafts fair I usually attend a couple of times a year with my mom called the Sugar Plum Festival.  This was the Halloween fair.   A man made this beautiful Haunted House out of scrap wood.
The out house is equipped with an electric chair, and the skeleton jumped around when you flipped the switch and he is electrocuted.   Very cute!

The main isle of the fair, it was huge and there was a million cute things for Halloween, I could have easily spent $ 1,000.00 !

Then on to one of our favorite places to visit at the holidays, Rogers Gardens.  It is always beautifully decorated.   Love all the beautiful pumpkins.

And the Halloween room is so pretty with some of the most adorable stuff.

A Halloween tree, covered in beautiful glass ornaments much like Christmas.

And for the more gruesome side, a vending machine full of rats!!

I love the white pumpkins, they are so pretty and especially good to cook with as they are the sweetest meat.   I can't wait to do some pumpkin soup making the house smell great.   Fortunately I can also stop at a place around the corner from home that has pumpkin soup everyday for lunch and dinner!  Yum!

Of course just love the pretty Cinderella pumpkins.

And a little Halloween decorating going on inside the house, with kitty overseeing things.  Had a really fun weekend running around to fairs and pumpkin farms and 3 yr old nieces birthday, getting to see alot of the family I don't see as often as I would like with everyone's busy schedules.

Beautiful photos of a fun day. How could anyone look at this site and not want to rush home and decorate!
