Tying the knot

Yes I did! My love of the past 19 years and I got married on Friday in a civil ceremony. It was really beautiful. The county now uses a restored courthouse built in 1901 as a museum and does weddings and passports. After already living life together for so long we just wanted something simple and just for us. The only other person was our 14 year old son as our witness. The room was decorated with flowers and our judge had the nicest voice, soft and sweet. We exchanged rings and vows and then went to have breakfast : ). I was married before 30 years ago for 14 years and had my big wedding. Then a somewhat nasty divorce. And then life happened, we got busy and well, here we are! I must say though, there is something to be said for going through the good and the bad with someone and still wanting to marry them 19 years later : )
