Proud Mom

So proud of this boy!   Well, not a boy anymore, a young man of 20.
This is my Middle Son,  Corey Sage.

He was a sweet, sweet baby.  And a sweet, happy little boy with a raspy voice.  He ran like a little pony when he was little, swinging his long hair from side to side. His grandma called him "pony boy".   He has always heard a different song.   His own.
He is a beautiful man, handsome man, funny, aggravating, exasperating, loving and kind.   He is a loyal friend to a fault.   Because of this he has been hurt a few times.   But if he loves you, you are a lucky person.  He would do anything for you.   He loves people and thinks everyone deserves a second chance.
He is an artist.  He takes pictures, paints, sculpts and draws and is really good at all of it.
He is graduating from 2 year college next month.   He is applying to a university to study Studio Arts that is a few hours away.   He had thought of going further but when it came right down to it, he didn't want to be so far away from friends and family and his little dog, Spike.   He will live on campus and come home on the weekends.  I am glad,  I would miss him terribly.  Although it makes me a little teary and sad to see my boys grow up and leave home I am so excited for him and pray for all his dreams to come true : )

Lovely photos and I can really feel the love and pride in your post. They grow up so fast, don't they? My Max will be 16 next week!
