Happy Easter!

I wanted to share a beautiful sunset that I witnessed and photographed with my iphone.  Beautiful picture of the Pacific Ocean.

This was the same day with cloud cover over the sunset and changed to black and white thanks to Instagram.  I really like this one too.  I never tire of taking or looking at beautiful sunsets : )

Last Sunday we drove up the coast a little bit to Seal Beach and had dinner.  If you're ever in that area, a really good place to eat is Sweet Basil, vietnamese cuisine.    It was so good !  Banana leaf wrapped fish and brown rice.   Healthy too!

My youngest son is an altar server and a special Mass was held a few weeks ago to honor the altar servers from all the churches in the diocese.  Bishop Vann.

This beautiful little girl is my great niece, Eva Flower.   She was born on Jan 10.   I wish I could see her more, she is about an hour away.   Not far, but when you think about 1 hour down, 2-3 hour visit, hour back, well I just don't get to see her too often.   She is just a doll and I love her to pieces.   She has big blue eyes and the sweetest disposition : )  I will get to see her again tomorrow for Easter, maybe I can get Mama to let me keep her : )    A lot of my friends are so glad their kids are grown and moving out of the house, I am not.   I would have my babies back in a heart beat, I miss it.

This handsome young man is Oldest Son.   He is so handsome all dressed up in his dance regalia.  Pow wow season is fast approaching and hopefully we will all be dancing a lot this year.  I still have to finish moccasins for this son, he has waited patiently for  a long time!
