Happy New Year

Well I see I haven't written in awhile. I do take the time to read my favorite posts, I have several now, so this takes some (worthwhile) time. I have been so busy moving, finally all done with that yesterday, and getting ready for the holidays at the same time, and then the everyday stuff. Christmas was nice, but a little too rushed, the boys all had a good time though. We were supposed to leave this tuesday on an annual trip I have taken at this time with my 3 boys for the past five years. We go stay up in the snow for a week at a cabin and always have the most amazing time. Every year there is snow up to my hips, I swear. It is just beautiful. Then last year, we were shocked to find there wasn't any snow and it didn't snow while we were there either. This year, I have been checking everyday and there is NO SNOW. I decided to postpone the trip till February, when the kids are off for Presidents Week. It was disappointing though, not to be able to go as usual. Snow to me is the most beautiful thing, being in the forest and the snow is all over the ground and quietly falling, snow is like a prayer to me. I have very spiritual feelings about snow. We haven't had much rain this year either, it must be an effect of the global warming. Someone else who's posts I always read talked about a movie dealing with that issue, I think I will try to see it. Well, if anyone reads this post I hope you have an amazing 2007, a new year is so exciting, the possibilities, like fresh paper and pencils..................

Hi Tournesol,

You left such a nice comment on my blog last week. I didn't realize that you had the stress of moving.

It's great that you take your boys out to ski and just experience winter. It's scary this year.

I like your image of new paper and pencils. Happy New Year 2007 to you.

Hiya Tournesal,
My sister couldn't comment on your blog because she's Beta (lol, that sounds like she's an alien species), so she asked me to leave this comment for you:

"I wish I could comment on your blog Tournesol to let you know how
happy I am that you and your family enjoyed the potstickers, that's so exciting. I would comment myself but can't do that on pre-beta blogs that don't allow anonymous posts. Take care, I hope the snow finds you soon.

And lucky me, now I get to explore your blog too! hehe. Jamie
