3 days till Christmas and Happy Winter Solstice

 If you have a cat, you know how much cats love boxes and paper bags.  My cat Moose squeezed his big ole self into this cuties tangerine box.  It was hysterical.  Then he got this look on his face like he was a little embarrassed that he didn't quite fit but he didn't want us to know so he tried to be nonchalant about the whole thing while he's hanging out on all sides.

 I haven't spent too much time at the mall this year but I had to go last night.  It was decorated beautifully, I didn't have too hard of a time parking either.    Everyone hustling and bustling around and cheerful and friendly.  It was a nice experience and really put me in the mood : )  

 The outdoor decorations around the Plaza are always really nice too!

 This picture absolutely doesn't do this tree justice but all I had was my iphone.   It touches the ceiling that is 3 stories high and is really full. It is covered in thousands of ornaments I'm sure.

 Winter scenes everywhere, so pretty.

 And of course Santa's workshop.   All the parents and their little children standing in line waiting for pictures made me a little melancholy, I don't have anyone who wants to wait in line for Santa Claus anymore : (

And the balloon man who is always there year round.  I love balloons.  They make me happy : )  I am nearly done shopping,  just have a couple of little things yet  to get for my boys.  Friday night we will have my family over for Christmas.   Christmas Eve my 12 year old will be an altar server at the Family Christmas Eve Mass.  Then Christmas Eve with just us.   Christmas day after the tree we just lay around the house, napping, eating and watching movies- my favorite part!
